All Multi-Purpose Fields (i.e. soccer/lacrosse/field hockey) AND BASEBALL/SOFTBALL DIAMONDS, at the Chickering Playfields and Caryl Park are OPEN WITH CAUTION.*
*OPEN WITH CAUTION means - if it begins to rain OR has rained, and there are any soft field surfaces, visible water seeping up when walking OR any standing water on a field at all, IT WILL BE THE COACHES RESPONSIBILITY TO CLOSE THAT FIELD AND CANCEL ANY PRACTICES OR GAMES.
For any questions regarding your specific team practice or game schedule, you will need to contact your coach or league officials.
All Dover Parks & Recreation Department field decisions are FINAL and WILL STAND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, with updates being posted whenever necessary, but typically on weekdays between 12:00 - 1:00pm.
