Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC operates a natural gas pipeline system in Dover and Needham. Under authority from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Department of Transportation, Algonquin constructs, operates, and maintains its pipeline facilities. As part of its pipeline maintenance program, Algonquin will be excavating and inspecting a portion of its pipeline in Dover where the pipeline crosses the Charles River between Dover and Needham; the work itself will occur in a blackwater/oxbow feature on the Dover side of the river. Work is scheduled to begin in mid-May and takes approximately 2 months to complete. Typical work hours will be Monday through Saturday, beginning at 7:00am and ending at 5:00pm.
