All Multi-Purpose Fields (i.e. soccer/lacrosse/field hockey) and Baseball Diamonds at the Chickering Playfields and Caryl Park Playfields are OPEN with CAUTION
Prior to a game, I would have coaches/officials check and if any of the following conditions exist the field will be CLOSED…
1. Standing water
2. While walking on the field of play, water can be seen or heard with a footstep
3. While walking on the field of play, an impression of your footprint is left on the surface
For any questions regarding your specific team practice or game schedule, you will need to contact your coach or league officials.
All Dover Parks & Recreation Department field decisions are FINAL and WILL STAND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, with updates being posted whenever necessary, but typically on weekdays between 12:00 - 1:00pm.
