Dover’s FY 2024 tax rate of $10.96 has been reviewed and approved by the Department of Revenue.
As required, the Town has completed its certification year valuation for FY 2024, reflecting values as of January 1, 2023. The average single family residential valuation is $1,611,538.00; the median is $1,353,100.00.
Tax bills will be mailed in late December, with the first of two final payments due on February 1, 2024. Applications for abatement of the real estate or personal property tax must also be submitted to the Board of Assessors by February 1, 2024. For personal exemptions, the application deadline is April 1, 2024.
